Chicken and Dumpling Stew
Nothing says home cooking like chicken soup. Tender chicken, vegetables and doughy Reames Homestyle Flat Dumplings make this recipe worthy of Grandma’s kitchen.

Dredge chicken in seasoned flour.
In a wide, heavy pot, heat oil over medium heat. When hot, add chicken, skin side down, and cook until nicely browned, about 5 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on other side. Remove from pan and set aside.
Add onion, carrot, celery, bay leaf and thyme to pot. Season with salt and pepper and sauté a few minutes.
Stir in broth. Add Reames Homestyle Flat Dumplings. Return chicken to pot, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender and chicken is cooked through (reaches an internal temperature of 165°F) and juices run clear.
Scoop dumplings and chicken into bowls and cover with broth. Garnish with parsley.
