Sister Schubert’s® Dinner Yeast Rolls set the stage for the perfect sandwich of tender roast beef, Swiss cheese and caramelized onions.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Prepare Sister Schubert’s® Dinner Yeast Rolls according to package directions. Cool slightly and split the rolls.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a medium size non-stick pan. Add onions and sugar and cook about 12 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onions are golden. Remove from the heat.
Pour beef stock into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and add the roast beef. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Cut each piece of Swiss cheese in half.
To assemble sandwiches, divide the meat and onions among the rolls, top with Swiss cheese and serve.
