This delicious kale salad recipe made with Marzetti® Simply Dressed® Balsamic Vinaigrette is so easy to prepare. It’s also a great introduction to the nutritious, leafy green.

Ingredients

1 large bunch fresh lacinato or curly kale

1/3 cup Marzetti® Simply Dressed® Balsamic Vinaigrette

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

2 tablespoons shallot, minced

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup Marzetti® Sea Salt & Pepper Croutons, crushed

1/4 cup Pecorino Romano or Parmesan cheese, shredded

Directions

Step 1:

Rinse kale with cool water and pat dry. Remove tough stems and stack leaves on top of each other. Cut kale into fine ribbons and transfer to large mixing bowl.

Step 2:

Pour vinaigrette over kale and toss to combine.

Step 3:

Add tomatoes, shallot, lemon juice, salt and pepper and toss to combine.

Step 4:

Stir in Marzetti® Sea Salt & Pepper Croutons.

Step 5:

Transfer salad to serving plates and top with cheese.
