Take Brussels sprouts to the next level using bacon and Marzetti® Simply Creamy Balsamic Dressing & Marinade, topped with shallots, pear, almonds, and avocado.
Trim, halve, and thinly slice Brussels sprouts. Set aside in a medium bowl.
Heat large saute pan over medium-high heat. Cook bacon until lightly browned for about 5 to 7 minutes, turning halfway through. Remove onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain. When cooled, chop into bite-size pieces.
In the same pan, add shallot and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until soft. Add Brussels sprouts and toss to cook evenly until bright green for 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Remove from heat and scrape mixture into a large bowl. Add bacon and toss to combine.
Arrange salad on serving platter. Top with pear, almonds, and avocado. Drizzle with Marzetti® Simply Creamy Balsamic Dressing & Marinade and serve.
