Girard’s® Olde Venice Italian Dressing adds zest to this versatile summer tomato-and-herb recipe for a sauce that practically makes itself, and a pasta dish that’s so delicious!
Combine Girard's® Olde Venice Italian Dressing, tomatoes, basil, parsley, and salt (to taste) in a medium, non-reactive bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Bring large pot of salted water to bowl. Stir in penne and cook according to package directions for al dente. Remove tomato mixture from refrigerator while pasta cooks.
Drain pasta and toss with olive oil in large bowl.
Stir tomato sauce into hot pasta until combined.
Divided pasta among serving bowls and top with grated Parmesan cheese, basil and black pepper.
