Pan Fried Chicken With Honey Mustard Sauce


Simple chicken gets a boost of flavor from a sauce made with shallots, chicken broth, wine and Jack Daniel’s®  Honey Mustard.

Directions
Step 1:

Season chicken with salt and pepper. Place flour in a shallow bowl and coat each piece of chicken with flour, shaking off excess.

Step 2:

In large cast iron pan, heat 2 tablespoons butter and place 3 pieces of chicken pieces in skillet. Cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side, cooking thoroughly depending upon size of chicken. Remove cooked chicken and repeat process with remaining butter and chicken.

Step 3:

In same pan, add shallots and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes on low heat until they are soft.

Step 4:

Whisk in broth, wine and honey mustard, increase heat to high and continue to whisk until sauce has thickened.

Step 5:

Pour sauce over chicken.

Step 6:

Serve.
