Step 1:

Cook noodles according to package directions; set aside.

saute onions and mushrooms
Step 2:

In a large pot, melt butter; sauté onions, garlic and mushrooms until tender. Add chicken stock, sour cream, and ½ cup of half-and- half.

Step 3:

Mix remaining ½ cup of half-and-half with cornstarch. Add to the pot and cook until thickened.

add turkey and noodles
Step 4:

Add leftover turkey, salt and pepper and cooked noodles. Bring mixture to a boil. Boil for two minutes.

top bread with turkey mixture
Step 5:

Toast peasant bread. To serve, place a slice of toasted bread on plate and top with noodle mixture.
