Layered Chocolate Brownies

Preheat oven to 325ºF. Line 8x8” baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on all sides for easy removal. Butter the parchment paper and set aside.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Once melted remove from heat and whisk in sugar, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla, and eggs, stirring to combine between each additional ingredient.
Fold in the flour, being careful not to overmix. Scrape half the batter into the pan and spread to smooth the top.
Carefully spread the chocolate fruit dip over the batter, making an even layer. Scrape the rest of the batter on top of the chocolate fruit dip and spread with a knife to smooth the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.When brownies are done, set pan on a wire rack to cool completely. Slice into squares and serve.
