A great recipe for an appetizer or a meal, these bite-size burgers served on Sister Schubert’s® Dinner Yeast Rolls are simply delicious!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake rolls according to package directions. Remove from oven and split in half.
Preheat grill to high heat. Alternatively, heat canola oil in cast-iron grill pan over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 8 portions and form into 3” patties. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Grill beef patties 4-5 minutes per side for medium-well to well done.
Top patties with cheese during last minute of cooking.
Arrange roll bottoms on platter. Place cooked burger patty on roll and top with red onion. Top with the other half of roll and serve hot.
