These delectable cupcakes come with a surprise in the middle: a sweet mix of chopped strawberries and Marzetti® Glaze for Strawberries.

Directions

Prepare cup cakes as directed on package and cool.  Using a melon baller spoon or a small paring knife, scoop or cut out the center of each cupcake from the top, and reserve (you will use the top of the cake “core” to cover the filling).

In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup Marzetti® Glaze for Strawberries and chopped strawberries. Using a small spoon, fill each cupcake with the strawberry mixture. Place the top of the cake “core” over the filling of each cupcake to cover. Top each cupcake with whipped cream and swirl in additional dip into the cream. Garnish each cupcake with a strawberry half.
