All you pasta-, chicken- and ranch-lovers will appreciate this tasty (and easy-to-make) BBQ-style casserole, made with Marzetti® Classic Ranch Dressing.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cook pasta according to package directions until “al dente” or not fully cooked through. In a large bowl, toss pasta with 1 teaspoon olive oil and set aside.
Heat remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, pepper, and mushrooms and sauté until onion is translucent and mushrooms have released their liquid, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and scrape mixture into bowl with pasta. Add a jar of ranch dressing, 1 cup of barbecue sauce, 1 cup of cheese, diced tomatoes, and chicken. Stir together to thoroughly combine.
Scrape mixture into a greased 9x13” baking pan and top with remaining cheese. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
Top with green onions and serve.
